Could it be that I’m actually addicted to Starbucks? Every single morning rain or shine I will surrender my $2.09 for a grande cup of the special roast or the always delicious aroma of the Pike’s Place Roast. Maybe, just maybe, it’s the enormous amount of caffeine that Starbucks crams into every brew that I require on a daily basis to operate, but is it more then that? Could it be the hypnotizing always gorgeous green siren strategically placed on every coffee sleeve and cup Starbucks produces luring me in to consume?
My girlfriend thinks I’m nuts! Even after receiving a Keurig coffee maker for Christmas I am still drawn every morning to the drive through of my vacation home a.k.a. Starbucks on Merle Hay. Don’t get me wrong though, I still love the Keurig coffee maker and the cup it provides me while I get ready every morning, but for some reason it’s just not the same.
Am I the only one out there who feels a connection with this place? It just might be a cry for help, but for now my office will always smell like Starbucks in the morning as I ponder whether or not I’m actually addicted to Starbucks.
